Yes. Our LVP uses a rigid SPC (stone-plastic composite) core that does not absorb water, so it can go in kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and laundry rooms. "Water-resistant" laminate can swell when wet; 100% waterproof SPC LVP will not.
Material typically runs about $2.25 to $3.50 per square foot for quality waterproof LVP. Professional installation in the Lexington area is roughly $3.00 per square foot for labor (baseboards, trim, and other finish work can add extra charges). See our full cost guide for a room-by-room breakdown.
Usually, yes. Floating click-lock LVP can install over most hard, flat, dry surfaces including tile, vinyl, and concrete. The subfloor needs to be clean and level within tolerance. We sell the underlayment and transition trim to finish the job.
The wear layer (measured in mils) is the clear top coat that resists scratches. 12-mil suits bedrooms and light-traffic rooms; 20-mil and up is best for busy households, pets, rentals, and light commercial spaces.
Yes. We deliver by freight across Lexington and Central Kentucky, including Nicholasville, Georgetown, Richmond, Versailles, Winchester, and Frankfort. Delivery is free and carried inside your home (not left in the driveway or garage) on orders of 500 sq ft or more within Fayette County, and orders of 1,000 sq ft or more within 30 minutes outside Fayette County. A small fee applies if the crew has to carry material up flights of stairs. Contact us for delivery cost outside these areas.
